SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and Northern Shan State, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw and Chin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Bago Region and Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Sagaing Region and Mon State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (7.08) inches in Maungdaw, (6.49) inches in Shwekyin, (4.84) inches in Madauk, (4.49) inches in Kyauktaw, (4.17) inches in Khamti, (3.36) inches in Mawlamyine, (3.19) inches each in Sittwe and Nyaunglaybin, (2.60) inches in Myauk U, (2.55) inches in Ann, (2.21) inches each in Gwa and Hpapun, (2.05) inches in Paletwa, (1.77)inches each in Manaung and Shan-Ywar-Thit, (1.70)inches in Paing Kyone and (1.65) inches each in Kani and Belin.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon ismoderateover the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 02ndJuly, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, scattered in Mandalay Region and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Region and Kahin, Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, MonStates. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak to moderate monsoon.
