SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region and Eastern Shan State, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Magway Region and Northern Shan State, scattered in Mandalay Region and fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago Regions and Kayin, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (4.25) inches in Sittwe, (3.50) inches in Ann, (3.30) inches in Kyaukpyu, (2.08) inches in Maungdaw, (1.90) inches in Shwegwin(Hlaingbwe), (1.78) inches in Thaton, (1.69) inches in Labutta, (1.42) inches in Theinzayet, (1.37) inches in Yangon(Kaba-Aye), (1.34) inches in Dawei, (1.30) inches in Yangon(Mingladon) and (1.26) inches each in Matupi and Taungkok.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 22nd June, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and (Northern and Eastern)Shan State,  scattered in Mandalay Region, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Southern Shan, Kayah, Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady Region and Mon State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Moderate monsoon.
