BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 10th June, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago Regions and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions andKayin State. STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8- 11) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
