SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past
(24) hours, light rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Kayah State,
isolated in Mandalay, Magway and Bago Regions, Shan and Mon States and
weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day
temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) above May average temperatures in Mandalay
and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine and Kayah States and
(5°C) to (6°C) above May average temperatures in the remaining Regions and
States. The significant day temperatures were (44°C) each in Myingyan, Chauk
and Magway, (43°C) each in Monywa, Yeu and Minbu. The noteworthy amounts
of rainfall recorded were Naypyitaw (Laiway) (0.90) inch, Naypyitaw (Airport)
(0.19) inch, Namsam, Taunggu and Loikaw (0.15) inch each, Pinlaung and
Pyinmana (0.11) inch each.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 7th May, 2015: Weather will be partly
cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Magway and Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State and
rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in the remaining Regions and States.
