SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kayah State, scattered in Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Eastern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfall in Rakhine State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Sittwe (10.16)inches, Kyauktaw (4.92)inches, Hinthada (2.41)inches, Maungdaw (2.36)inches and Putao (2.17)inches.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th September, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, scattered in (Northern and Eastern)Shan and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Ayeyarwady Region and Southern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
