SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Chin States and isolated to scattered in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Machanbaw (2.24)inches, Moekok (2.13)inches, Nyaunglaybin (1.77)inches, Minesat (1.54)inches and Singaing (1.40)inches.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (12:30) hrs MST today, the low pressure area over West Central Bay and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal still persists. Monsoon is moderate in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 13th August, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, Scattered in Mandalay Region and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan, Chin and Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in the Northern Myanmar areas.
