SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, rain or thundershower have been scattered in Eastern Shan State and isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kayin State. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago Region and Kayah State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were 3°C above April average temperature in Kachin State and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were 41.7°C in Chauk, 40.6°C in Magway, 40.5°C each in Zaung Tu and Minbu, 40.4°C in Kawkareik, 40.3°C in Sinbyugyun, 40.2°C in Taungdwingyi, 40.1°C each in Taunggu and Aunglan and 40.0°C each in Tharrawady, Gyobingauk and Pakokku on 21-4-2025. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 0.28 inch in Monghpyak, 0.22 inch in Tachileik and 0.09 inch in Mongyawng.
BAYINFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 23rd April 2025: Rain or thundershower will be scattered in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States and isolated in Mandalay Region and Chin, Shan States. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
