SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain have been isolated in Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and (Northern and Eastern)Shan State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Mandalay, Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Southern Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were 3°C above March average temperatures in Kachin, Kayin States, 2°C above March average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Mon State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were 40.3°C each in Aunglan and Theinzayet, 40.2°C each in Zaung Tu, Hpa-an(Agro-Met) and Kawkareik, 40.1°C in Chauk, 40.0°C each in Taunggu, Bago and Hpa-an, 39.7°C in Taunggu(Aviation-Met), 39.6°C each in Pyay and Magway and 39.5°C each in Phyu and Taungdwingyi on 24-3-2025. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 0.12 inch in Htilin and 0.04 inch in Gangaw.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 26th March 2025: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Shan States. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be partly cloudy in Mandalay, Sagaing Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
