SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain have been isolated in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been partly cloudy in Yangon, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were 3°C above March average temperature in Mon State, 2°C above March average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Bago Region and Kachin, Kayin, Southern Shan States and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were 40.0°C in Theinzayet, 39.4°C each in Shwekyin, Chauk and Hpa-an, 39.3°C in Aunglan, 39.2°C each in Hpa-an(Agro-Met) and Myawaddy, 39.0°C each in Naypyitaw(Zayarthiri), Taunggu, Nyaunglaybin, Phyu and Mudon and 38.8°C each in Tharrawady and Magway.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea, Westcentral Bay and Southwest Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 12th March 2025: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Kayah State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
