SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain have been isolated in Yangon Region and Kachin State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were 2°C above March average temperature in Mon State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were 39.5°C in Myawaddy, 39.4°C in Pyay, 39.0°C in Aunglan, 38.8°C each in Hpa-an(Agro) and Mawlamyine, 38.6°C each in Bago and Theinzayet, 38.4°C each in Nyaunglaybin, Hpa-an and Thazi(Hlaingtat), 38.0°C each in Yamethin, Tharrawady and Wettigan(Laydatpyin), 37.9°C in Shwekyin and 37.9°C each in Taunggu, Magway and Thaton.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and Central Bay and generally fair over the North Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 1st March 2025: Rain will be scarttered in Kachin state and isolated in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be partly cloudy in Kayin, Mon, Northern Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
