SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 3°C below January average temperature in Rakhine State, 2°C below January average temperature in Taninthayi Region and 2°C above January average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Eastern Shan State, 3°C above January average temperatures in Sagaing Region and Kachin State and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 0.6°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 2.0°C in Hakha, 3.4°C in Heho, 4.0°C in Loilin, 5.2°C in Pinlaung, 6.5°C in Pyinoolwin, 7.0°C in Mongyang, 7.2°C in Tiddim, 7.9°C in Taunggyi and 8.4°C in Nyaungshwe.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the South Bay, partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 24th January 2025: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be partly cloudy in Yangon, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
