Bay of Bengal Condition
Likelihood of Southwest monsoon has advancement into Northern Myanmar Area during (3-8) June, 2018. Two low pressure area may form over the Bay of Bengal and one may further intensify into a depression. Monsoon will be moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
Rain Conditions and Rainy Days
Above normal rain in Kayin and Mon States and about normal in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine and Kayah States.
Rainy days are expected about (20) to (26) days in Upper Sagaing, Bago Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States, about (13) to (19) days in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Tanintharyi Regions and Kayah State.
