Monthly Water Level Forecast of January, 2020

During the Month of January, the water levels of Ayeyarwady river are forecast to fall below the present water levels by about (½-1) foot at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu, Katha, Thabeikyin, Mandalay and Sagaing, and about (1-2) feet atMyinmu,Pakokku, Nyaung Oo, Chauk, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun.
The water levels of Chindwin river are forecast to fall below the present water levels by about (½-1) foot at Hkamti, Homalin and Phaungpyin, and about (1-2) feet at Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa.
