23-11-2024: According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area has formed over East Equatorial India Ocean and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over South Bay of Bengal around 25-11-2024. Thereafter, its likely to move Northwestwards and may reach to Tamil Nadu(India)-Sri Lanka coasts during next 2 days. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

      According to the (12:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of   Ayeyarwady River at Mandalay is (292) cm. It may fall below the present water level by about (½) foot during the first (10) days of January, 2022 and may remain below its minimum alert water level (360) cm.
