Low Pressure Area Condition

According to the observations at 05:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Westcentral Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move North-Northeastwards and weaken gradually over central Bay of Bengal during next 24 hrs.
Due to the low pressure area, rain or thundershowers are likely to be fairly widespread to widespread in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls from today morning to 16-4-2025. Rain or thundershowers are likely to be fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States during 17-4-2025 to 18-4-2025.
