DEPARTMENT OF METEOROLOGY AND HYDROLOGY (MYANMAR)
12-12-2024: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the well marked low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal(off Sri Lanka Coast ) is crossing near North Sri Lanka coast. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may reach over Tamil Nadu Coast, India, during next 6 hrs. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and East central bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
Low Pressure Area Condition

"According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Deltaic area and adjoining East Central Bay of Bengal has become unimportant."
