25-11-2024: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the well marked low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean has moved West-Northwestwards and now lies over South Bay of Bengal.  It is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression during next 12 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to move Northwestwards and may reach to Tamil Nadu (India)-Sri Lanka coasts during next 2 days. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Bay of Bengal Condition

                 Five low pressure areas may form over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and two may further intensify into the depressions. Weather will be a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Rain Condition

                 Rain or thundershowers will be above normal in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States and about normal in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah States.

Night Temperature

             Night Temperature will be (1.5°C) above normal of Winter average Temperatures  in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Southern) Shan, Kayah States and about normal of Winter average Temperatures in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Eastern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.

Foggy Condition

          The localized foggy weather phenomena and dense fog in Coastal zones, mountainous areas during Winter Season is typical. (Foggy weather forecast will be updated every month for respective areas.)
