25-11-2024: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the well marked low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean has moved West-Northwestwards and now lies over South Bay of Bengal.  It is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression during next 12 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to move Northwestwards and may reach to Tamil Nadu (India)-Sri Lanka coasts during next 2 days. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Bay of Bengal Condition

Weather will be partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of  Bengal.

Rain Conditions and Rainy Days

Rain or thunder showers will be likely above normal in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State and about normal in Upper Sagaing Region and below normal in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.

Rainy days are expected about (1) to (3) days in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State and and partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.

Day temperature will be (1.5°C) above normal of March average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and about normal in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine,  Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.

Fog Condition

Foggy days will be expected about (4) to (6) days in Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Shan, Mon States and about (2) to (3) days in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin States.
