28-11-2024: According to the observations at (15:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved Northwards. It is centered at about 715 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 255 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea.

Monsoon will be weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Rain Conditions and Rainy Days

Rain or thundershowers will be likely above normal in Shan State, below normal in Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and about normal in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Chin, Kayah States

Rainy days are expected about (7) to (9) days in Upper Sagaing, East Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and (3) to (6) days in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, West Bago Regions and Kayah State.
