28-11-2024: According to the observations at (15:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved Northwards. It is centered at about 715 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 255 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea.

Bay of Bengal Condition

A low pressure area may form over the North Bay of Bengal. Monsoon will be moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Rain Conditions and Rainy Days

Rain or thundershowers will be likely below normal in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady,Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine States and about normal in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States

Rainy days are expected about (7) to (9) days in Upper Sagaing, East Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and (3) to (6) days in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, West Bago Regions and Kayah State.
