A moderate earthquake of magnitude (5.5) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (14) miles northeast of Danai), latitude 26.52°N, longitude 96.86°E, depth (38) kilometers, about (78) miles northwest of Myitkyina seismological observatory was recorded at (19) hr (15) min (36) sec M.S.T on 5^th April, 2024.
