BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs MST today, the low pressure area over West Central Bay of Bengal still persists. Monsoon is strong to vigorous in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 19th June, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, scattered in Kayah State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing and Bago Regions, Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Mon State. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough sea will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) m.p.h.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of strong monsoon.
