National Public Awareness Workshop on Acid Deposition and Other Related Atmospheric Pollutions in was held on 13, June, 2013 at Myat Taw Win Hotel, Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar . The workshop was organized by the Acid Deposition Monitoring Network in East Asia (EANET), Asia Centre for Air Pollution and host by the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology (DMH), Myanmar. The workshop was attended by approximately 65 participants who included: the Secretariat and Deputy Director General for the EANET , representatives from the government of Myanmar , school teachers, students, media and journalists
The workshop aims to give the participants who mainly are policy maker officials, school teachers and students the und erstanding and awareness of atmospheric pollutions, acid deposition and their impacts to health and environment in order to give another angle for policy maker the possible impact from economic growth and development.
