25-11-2024: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the well marked low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean has moved West-Northwestwards and now lies over South Bay of Bengal.  It is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression during next 12 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to move Northwestwards and may reach to Tamil Nadu (India)-Sri Lanka coasts during next 2 days. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Bay of Bengal Condition
A Low Pressure Area may form in the Bay of Bengal. Monsoon will be moderate to strong in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Rain Conditions and Rainy Days
Rain will be expected above normal in Bago, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States and about normal in the remaining Regions and States.
Rainy days are expected about (8) to (9) days in Bago, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States and about (6) to (7) days in the remaining Regions and States.
