SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Chin State, scattered in Kachin, Rakhine States and isolated in Naypyitaw and Upper Sagaing Region. Weather has been generally fair in Yangon Region and Kayah State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) below April average temperatures in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Southern Shan, Rakhine, Kayah States and (3°C) to (4°C) below April average temperatures in Kachin, Chin States and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (40°C) each in Bawlakhae, Hpasaung, Theinzayet and (39°C) each in Pyay, Shwekyin, Nyaunglaybin. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (0.83) inch in Maungdaw, (0.31) inch in Kyauktaw, (0.19) inch each in Tiddim, Hkamti and (0.16) inch in Myauk U.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 05th April, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be sacttered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and isolated in Taninthayi Region and Shan, Chin, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Chin States.
