BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 18thMay, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Magway Region and Chin, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Mandalay Region and Shan, Rakhine States, widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States.Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with moderate to rough sea are likely at time Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35)mph.
