16-10-2024: According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over Southwest Bay has moved West-Northwestwards now lies over the Southwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal. It is centered at about 615 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 165 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chennai (India). Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea, North Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
