SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Magway Regions, scattered in Mandalay Region and Chin, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Northern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Kachin, Rakhine, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Magway, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (7.80) inches in Belin, (6.22) inches in Thandwe, (4.33) inches each in Pauktaw and Mawlamyine, (4.09) inches in Bhamo, (3.57) inches in Coco-Island, (3.50) inches in Ye, (3.35) inches in Mudon, (3.27) inches in Shwegu, (3.19) inches each in Paung and Kawthaung, (3.11) inches in Taungkok, (3.00) inches in Kyaukpyu, (2.95) inches each in Moemate(Myitsone) and Shan-Ywar-Thit, (2.52) inches each in Theinzayet and Chaungsone and (2.48) inches in Myeik.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs MST today, the low pressure areas over interior Odisha(India) now lies over coastal areas of South Odisha-North Andhra Pradesh still persists.Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th July, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and Chin State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, ‌Mandalay Regions and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood regionally heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Rakhine, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Kayin, States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) mph. Wave height will be about (8-12) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of increase of rain in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
