SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago Regions and Kayin, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay, Magway Regions. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (5.28) inches in Thabeikkyin, (2.80) inches in Kalewa, (2.05) inches in Labutta, (1.69) inches in Kalay, (1.57) inches in Gangaw, (1.49) inches in Zaung Tu, (1.42) inches in Monyin, (1.34) inches in Mawlaik, (1.26) inches in Coco-Island, (1.22) inches in Naungcho and (1.18) inches in Gwa.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure areaover the Westcentral and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal (North Andhra Pradesh- South Odisha) coasts has crossed North Andhra Pradesh and adjoining South Odisha Coast, India.Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 08th September, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitawand Magway Region, fairly widespread in Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago Regions and Kachin, ShanStates and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions. STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate inMyanmarwaters. Wave height will be about (6-8)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
