BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (18:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Northwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal off South Odisha- North Andhra Pradesh coasts still persists. Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 07th September, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Magway Region , fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah and Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA:Squalls with rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (9 -12)feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts and (5-7)feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
