SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Ayeyarwady Region and Northern Shan, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago Regions and Eastern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Ragions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Mandalay, Magway, Bago Regions and Mon State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (7.05) inches in Shwekyin, (5.20) inches in Madauk, (4.02) inches in Paung, (3.75) inches in Patheingyi, (3.35) inches in Belin, (2.71) inches in Thazi, (1.97) inches in Meiktila, (1.93) inches each in Pyinoolwin and Hlaingtat, (1.81) inches in Mandalay(Chanayethasan), (1.79) inches in Wundwin and (1.76) inches in Mandalay(Chanmyathazi).
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 01st September, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Magway Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Ragions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States.
