 BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 19th August, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Mon State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate inMyanmarwaters. Wave height will be about (6 -8)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak monsoon.
