BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 16th August, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Magway Region and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Sagaing, Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Shan, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8–10) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
