BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 07th August, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing,Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionallyheavyfalls in Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Magway Region and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:Squalls withrough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8 -11)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Moderate monsoon.
