SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Northern Shan Stateand widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Rakhine State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (7.64) inches in Kyaukpyu, (7.44) inches in Ann, (5.59) inches in Thandwe, (3.86) inches in Taungkok, (3.74) inches each in Thayat and Sittwe, (3.62) inches in Aunglan, (3.11) inches in Maungdaw, (2.56) inches each in Kalay, Gwa and Manaung, (2.28) inches in Launglon, (2.24) inches each in Thabeikkyin and Kyeikdon, (2.23) inches in Saw and (2.20) inches in Hainggyigyun.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
