BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 06thAugust, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing Region and Kachin, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regionsand States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Kayin, Mon States. STATE OF THE SEA:Squalls withrough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8 -11)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
