SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Kachin State, scattered in Magway Region, fairly widespread in (Northern and Eastern) Shan Stateand widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Taninthayi Region and Rakhine, KayinStates. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (5.59) inches in Gwa, (4.17) inches in Dawei, (3.94) inches in Kyaukpyu, (3.63) inches each in Thandwe and Launglon, (3.42) inches in Payathonsu, (3.19) inches in Paing Kyone, (2.83) inches in Kyauktaw, (2.76) inches in Myeik, (2.72) inches in Labutta, (2.68) inches in Taungkok, (2.63) inches in Pathein, (2.60) inches in Kalewa, (2.56) inches in Ye and (2.48) inches in Hainggyigyun.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
