SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, scattered in Shan State, fairly widespread in Magway, Yangon Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Kayin and Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (4.72) inches in Belin, (4.02) inches in Thaton, (3.74) inches in Shan-Ywar-Thit, (3.46) inches in Kamamaung, (2.95) inches in Hpa-an, (2.76) inches in Hlaingbwe, (2.60) inches in Kyeikdon, (2.56) inches in Taunggu(Aviation), (2.21) inches each in Naypyitaw(Zabuthiri) and Kyauktaw and (2.12) inches in Paing Kyone.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 01stAugust, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, scattered in (Southern and Eastern)Shan State, fairly widespread in Magway Region and Northern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Kayin and Mon States. STATE OF THE SEA:Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (7 -10)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
