BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal had crossed to North Odisha coast. Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 25th July, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, Eastern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Kayin and Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Bago and Taninthayi Regions. STATE OF THE SEA:Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8-11) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
