BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (18:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal (off north Odisha-West Bengal coast) still persists. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 24thJuly, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine and Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Kayin States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8-13) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
