BAY INFERENCE: According to the observation at (17:30)hrs MST today the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal still persists. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 23rd July, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Eastern Shan, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8-13) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
