SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been isolated in Magway Region, scattered in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwaddy Regions, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Bago Regions, and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Mandalay, Bago Regions and Kayin State and isolated heavyfalls in Lower Sagaing Region and Kachin State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (6.97) inches in Putao, (4.25) inches in Paing Kyone, (4.13) inches in Hlaingbwe, (3.55) inches in Shwekyin, (3.23) inch in Madauk, (2.72) inches in Patheingyi(Agro), (2.60) inches in Phyu, (2.56) inches in Minesat, (2.52) inches in Myitkyina, (2.32) inches in Mandalay(Aungmyaytharsan), (2.28) inches in Nyaunglaybin and (2.24) inches in Zaung Tu.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 17th July, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw and Magway Region, fairly widespread in Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Eastern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
