SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin State, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Kayin States, fairly widespread in Kachin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Naypyitaw and isolated heavyfalls in Bago Region and Kachin, Rakhine, Mon States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (5.12) inches in Thaton,(3.34) inches in Naypyitaw(Zayarthiri), (3.27) inches in Gwa, (3.22) inches each in Monyin and Shwekyin, (2.76) inches in Mawlamyine, (2.32) inches in Chaungsone, (1.78) inches in Nyaunglaybin, (1.73) inches in Pyinmana(Walgyi), (1.54) inches in Madauk, (1.46) inches in Kyauktaw and (1.26) inches in Kawthaung.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weakelsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 16th July, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon Regions and (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Kayin States and widespread inthe remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-8)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Moderate monsoon over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal.
