SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been sacttered in Taninthayi Region and Eastern ShanState, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway regions and Northern Shan, Chin, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Mandalay Region and isolated heavyfalls inKachin State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (3.19) inches in Bhamo, (3.03) inches in Thabeikkyin, (2.44) inches in Shwegu, (2.09) inches in Central Yangon, (1.77) inches inManaung, (1.57) inches inSingu(Agro), (1.54) inches in Putao, (1.50) inches in Taungkok, (1.42) inches in Yangon(Mingaladon), (1.38) inches in Muse, (1.30) inches in Hainggyigyun and (1.25) inches each in Katha, Yangon(Kaba-Aye), Coco-Island and Kawkareik.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th July, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Kachin State, fairly widespread in Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and (Northern and Southern) Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and scattered in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
