SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been sacttered in Magway Region and Kachin, Northern Shan, Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago Region and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Lower Sagaing Region. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (2.72) inches in Launglon, (2.60) inches in Kani, (2.36) inches each in Madauk and Kawthaung, (1.81) inches in Myeik, (1.57) inches in Shwekyin, (1.53) inches in Coco Island, (1.50) inches in Dawei, (1.40) inches in Shwegon(Hlaingbwe), (1.26) inches in Myingyan and (1.22) inches each in Mawlaik and Mingin.

BAY INFERENCE:According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Westcentral Bay and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal still persists. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 12th July, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Magway Region and Kachin, Northern Shan States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Rakhine, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions.Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:Squalls with rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8-11)feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and (6-8)feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Weak to moderate monsoon.
