BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th July, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and (Northern and Southern) Shan State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago Region and Kachin, Eastern Shan and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:Squalls with rough seas are likely at times Deltaic,Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8-10)feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and (5-7)feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Moderate to strong monsoon over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal.
