BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 10th July, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Magway Region and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Northern Shan, Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about(7-9)feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and (5-7)feet off and along Rakhine Coasts.
