23-11-2024: According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area has formed over East Equatorial India Ocean and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over South Bay of Bengal around 25-11-2024. Thereafter, its likely to move Northwestwards and may reach to Tamil Nadu(India)-Sri Lanka coasts during next 2 days. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Bay of Bengal Condition

          Two Low Pressure Areas may form over the Bay of Bengal and one may further intensify into the Depression.  Monsoon will be moderate over the Andaman sea and Bay of Bengal. One time of Break Monsoon may occur during July.

Rain Conditions and Rainy Days

          Rain or Thundershower will be expected above normal rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State, below normal rain in Kayin and Mon States and about normal rain in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Rakhine and Kayah States.

            Rainy days will be expected 21 to 26 days in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Southen Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States, 15 to 20 days in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region, (Northern and Eastern)Shan and Kayah States,  9 to 14 days in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions.
