BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 03rd August, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in  Magway Region, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin, Southern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regionsand States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Sagaing,  Mandalay, Magway, Taninthayi Regions. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8 -11)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Moderate to strong monsoon.
