BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Central Bay and adjoining North Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move Northhwestwards and may further intensify into a Depression during next (24) hours. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at (06:30) hrs MST today, the tropical storm “CONSON” over the South China Sea has moved Westwards and downgraded into tropical Depression has crossed middle Vietnam Coast near Danang.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 12th September, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in (Northern and Eastern) Shan State, scattered in Lower Sagaing Region and Kachin State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Southern Shan, Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Ayeyarwady,Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA:Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40-45)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9 -13)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Increase of rain in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
